Description

A variety of beautifully made Native American coiled and twined baskets from all over western North America, including ones made by the Thompson, Klikitat, Yakama, Skokomish, Quinalt, Yokuts, Tlingit, Haida, Pima, Washo and the Makah. All are decorated.

The baskets were collected by Mrs. Fred Stimson, who passed them on to her son, who subsequently donated them to the museum.
